Guru Nanak Model Sen. Sec. School was established in the memory of 1st Sikh Guru Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is progressing by leaps and bound not only in the field of education but also in sports and cultural activities. It was established in 1977 with an idea of quality education. It reached up to matriculation affiliation in 1998 and Senior Secondary in 2002.

Location:-The school is located at Parbhat Nagar in Dholewal .It has well furnished and airy classrooms. It has water coolers fitted with aqua Guard for providing clean and filtered water to students.

Smart Class:- Smart Class is to retain technological advantage by bringing interactive boards, Computers and Projectors into everyday classroom teaching .It is aimed at bringing abstract and difficult curriculum concept to life making learning enjoyable enabling multi sensory learning. Improving academic performance of the students and enhancing teacher’s effectiveness.
Parents Meeting:- There will be regular parent- Teacher Meeting especially after the exams.
Fee Structure:- Fee and other charges once paid shall not be refunded for any reason. The names of the students who do not pay their fees within 10 days of due date will be struck off from the rolls. They may be re-activitied along with late fee fine.
Discipline:- Students are expected to be students are required to leave the classroom in an orderly manner.
Co-Curricular Activities:-Great Attention is paid to Co-Curricular activities in the school.
House System
G.N.M. has opted for Education through residential culture based on house system, this system plays key role in the all round development of the students. The major objectives that we should strive to achieve through the house system are:

There are four houses in Guru Nanak Model Family
Each house has its flag, badge, shirt etc. the house system is like a large joint family made up of four smaller families each with its distinct identity all geared to a common end. The house system strives to achieve its goals by providing a secure and effective social environment with which one can easily identify oneself and take pride as its recognized member.
